After a longer winter hiatus, Silver Network gets back to you with its second release this year. You already enjoyed Ciudad Feliz from Argentina, this time the sunshine comes from Hamburg. one of the most prolific german deephouse producer VINCENZO and mulit-instrumentalists and producer ELMAR SCHUBERT teamed up as SATIN SOULS again - a name they also used for their efforts on miguel migs’ TRANSPORT label as well as on TOI - and stuck their heads together with marc schneider aka SNIDER, who made himself a name as a true master behind the dekcs and now also steps up to the mixing console. the starter “make it simple” already sets the moto: music with the first purpose to move your feet but so musical and deep that it also gently strokes your soul. a west-coast like conga groove, spacey keys, whispered vocals and a ripping live bassline lead up to a sweet break that gives you some rest before the bass throws you back into the groove. “your feelings” is beautifully atmospheric with moody strings, piano chords, tasty and sparse vocoder vox and floating harp sounds embracing you like a soft and warm fur coat. “think about me sometimes” is one of those tracks that make you wanna party outside in the fields until the morning comes: edgy, raw beats combined with dubby vintage disco effects, swirling key sounds that make you feel dizzy, majestetic strings, classic organs a la prescription and a fierce acidline in between.
