Mesmerizing brazil influenced groover that has irresistible drive, brilliant arrangement and some real shinning solo joints - especially a totally out there synth solo. on the flip two interpretations by POKER FLAT artist JEFF BENNET put the theme in a totally different light. with clicking percussive beats, distorted, dirty chords and some dubby fx on the trumpet and the voices the “twisting mix” comes on a darker tip but kicks like a mule after the breakdown. Jeff Bennets “dub mix” is very much in the vein of his pokerflat stuff: reduced and minimal with an incredible swing and sheer vitality bubbling underneath the thick chords. summer madness!!
