Tony Foster gets the ball rolling with some warm, inviting late night house, with jazzy keys, shuffling beats, and a wandering bassline providing backing for a deep male vocal track. Next up is the first of 2 D-Squared cuts, “Hey Lil Girl", with some great filtered swing samples (Lena Horne) intertwined with a bumping bassline and shuffling house beats for some swinging house grooves that have a distinct dubby touch to them. On the flipside, Delano Smith goes with skipping beats, stabbing chords, and a steady bassline on “Overseas", with them all given dubby delays and run through filters for a tracky house groover for the floor crowds. Last up is the second of the D-Squared offerings, “Detox", with it’s heavy kick and wandering funky bassline the main players, joined by textured synths and crisp beats for more late night house goodness.
