You can already tell by the title that this fourth release on PPE is a solo project by one of the label owners Felix Houzer. This mature release is definitely more on the techy side, but very brilliant in its own way. The a-side is definitely a “hands in the air” “move your ass on the dance floor” track. Pumpin beats, techy chords and groovy bassline accompanied with great hook, makes this track peaktime floor filler. B1, Nord Rock part 2 is the counterpart to the a-side. A very well done track not as pumpin as Nord Rock part 1 but therefore with very nice “Moroder-like” enchanting strings. Overall an astonishing track, best played towards the end of a great night. With B2, Siddhartha, Felix shows his diversity and tones it down a notch with a more housey track, a very groovy bassline, lovely strings and Indian guitars. Even though the track is more slow it still kicks ass at the right time of the night. This record definitely rocks and hence absolutely deserves the title “NORD ROCK". Enjoy kickin your party with this great record!!!
