REPEAT, HEARTZ4 aka Daze Maxim proves again that he got way more tricks up his sleeve and won’t be easy to pin down. here he surprises a new totally stripped down to his bare soul with his fragile, bluesy vocals slightly sustained by a fingersnapping groove and caressed by gentle soundeffects - time to cuddle up on the floor. Philadelphia’s minimal house stalwart and co-founder of tuningspork and foundsound records SOMEONE ELSE lowers the temperature a bit putting some more weight on the skanking groove, distorting the vocals, draining them puddles of echo and showering them with groaning sounds thus injecting a feel of paranoia and loneliness. truly emotional stuff!
