NEW WAS WORLDWIDE EXCLUSIVE: HORIZONTAL!! BuSY world traveling DJ-procucer Alejandra Iglesias aka Dinky finally launches her own label “Horizontal” . After the minimal techno hit Acid in my Fridge (Cocoon records ) and several outstanding remixes, BEGINNING OF A NEW HORIZON underlines the episode in her book surprising with 3 delicious but not-at-all minimal tracks. A side „Horizontal“ a slow house-percussive-jam, with a beautifull piano on the backgrownd; a mixture between Moodyman and Omar s, dry and with an incredible sense of humor. Horizontal tells us a story between people and romance , light and darkness, piano ,druming, rythm and hypnotism. the B1 side „Dizzy“,a song inspired in the infamous Club der Visionaire in Berlin, where once Villalobos was playing and “Dizzy” was born.. The song also on the house-percussive side , very oringinal and with Dinky herself singing “im feeling kind of dizzy” and….how could you get so high” B2 Sabana ,a psycoldelic deep techno track ,feels like Jeff Mills in mushrooms ,beautiful, metalic, under water composition…deeply romantic. The record has been already suported by Groove Magazine, played by Luciano, Villalobos and Tobi Neumann in the past months,.. „ Horizontal“ - the begining of a new horizon! Classic!

DJ MAG 01.2006: “For those who had Dinky’s work assigned into the box marked ‘sleazy German minimalism’, this release will be a surprise. On the title track, the jet-setting DJ has more in common with Moodymann’s soulful house, as sweet piano lines complement rigid house beats and ‘Sabana’ rolls in the vein of the UK school of tech-house. Still, it would be hard for Dinky to forget her background and the warm, metallic funk of ‘Dizzy’ is a typical Berlin house track. Richard Brophy”
