Review

Danuel Tate, Tyger Dhula and Mathew Jonson release their first record on Wagon Repair. We have waited for this moment a long time! “Dump Truck” has elements from our live sets with a new twist and some really nice new keys from Danuel. “Peace Offering” is something all new from the same mix session after we drank some Jameson’s and had a smoke in celebration of mixing “Dump Truck". Only a few weeks old! Enjoy! Dump Truck Peace Offering Written, mixed and produced by Cobblestone Jazz Cobblestone Jazz is - Danuel Tate, Tyger Dhula and Mathew Jonson

WAG014 in the media

Ben Sims (UK Theory): “#3 September Charts”

BPM MAG (USA): “Quite the interesting project, Danuel Tate, Tyger Dhula and Mathew Jonson collaborate in a live setting to create tracks based on live performance. Simple percussion loops that hail a live drummer feel ride upon some non-sequenced synth work, while a delayed Rhodes solo delivers a funk-fused groove. Bordering on a light acid-jazz house cut, this mix fuses electronic purism with freeform jazz.”

Chris Duckenfield: “Best thing I've been sent all month The A Side smashes it Music that will sound good way past next week More please”

GROOVE MAG. Surprise, surprise.”

I-DJ Magazine (UK) Lee Smith: “HIT! Dump Truck is very cool, so simple but startlingly original. It’s great to hear some jazzy keys slipping into more techno sounds, and the almost breakbeat drums work very well on the floor. Very unique sounds.”

Laurent Garnier: “Fucking awsome 10/10. ”

Lucien Nicolet: “cool record ..... like always between swing and 101”

Monika Kruse: “good music!!!! can't wait for the other one.....”

Prins Thomas (Eskimo, Full Pup: “#1 September Charts”

TOBI NEUMANN: “#1 Juli/August Charts in Groove Magazin”

Tom Clark (Highgrade): “#1 September Charts”

Troy Pierce: “Great Track”
