The Lucky Guy Ep is Galaktika Records’ seventh publication, despite it being labelled as its fourth. The answer to this delay is on the vinyl’s grooves; each one of the themes on the ep has been broken down and examined to obtain a unique and special result. The Lucky Guy Ep testifies to the entry trough the big door of Rafael Garnica, a young Venezuelan settled in Barcelona, into the market of European and international electronica. Although he had already published with Latin American netlabels, this launch gives evidence to his versatility and creative aptitudes, which are finally manifest in physical format. The Lucky Guy Ep, oriented towards minimal techno with a melodic outlook, is an ambitious and careful production that can be enjoyed on the dancefloor as well as the sofa. A1- The Lucky Guy The central theme of this ep is a melodic and rhythmic progression where harmonies are intermingled with percussion in a shrewd crescendo, hypnotic and suggestive. The electrifying pads, the forceful beat, and the catchy base line build, through almost eight minutes, an amazing and memorable theme.A2- Lovers Sold This second act carries on with the same harmonious aesthetics of The Lucky Guy. With this ep, Galaktika Records positions itself on the electronic scene, not anymore as a promise, but as a reality capable of placing neophyte ar

Karotte: “a1, very lucky this guy!!! schön für den anfang.”
