Mineral brings us a summertime gem on the fourth release, Friends With Benefits vol.1, a v/a comp. featuring: Papa Sang Bass, Daniel Chavez, The Architect ft. Big Bully and Le K. Papa Sang Bass (aka Konstantin Gabbro of Orac/Adjunct fame) shows us his own brand of computer funk with the laid back groovy track Just Messin. A perfect example of what summertime should sound like. Daniel Chavez gives us a glimpse of his roots with Glitch That Bitch. A beautiful blend of percussive and quirky acid basslines and bleeps. The Architect ft. Big Bully come at us with High On Speed, a summertime banger that gives a new meaning to funk, as it swings, sways and commands the legions to get the fuck up and dance!! The somewhat mysterious Big Bully provides some of the illest vocals on the scene today, while The Architect chops, dices and serves up suckas like an iron chef. Le K is a name guaranteed to be heard ALOT in the near future! On this track, This Is K, he holds nothing back and gives you a mixed blend of everything funky you’ve ever heard from every style.
