Living between the happy days of Disco and the future world of Electro lies the Disco V. Warm analog keys and bass groove along while Stan Karminsky (the man with the biggest afro on the lower east side) pounds at the drums with the widest tooth smile you’ve probably ever seen. A stab cuts through it all and Quentin Harris starts banging a lead on the electric keyboard. This is one of those that takes the set from the dark recesses of where you’ve been to the happy sunrise ecstasy that the early morning disco always brings.On the flip side, inspired by the classic show of the same name, Knight Rider (known as Super Car to our Italian friends) chugs along like Michael Knight himself, riding thru the desert at dawn outrunning the darkness. 80’s synths abound while the wind whips into our man’s well coifed hair. Thick bass and kick move things forward and finally a piano bounces off in the distance as if to foreshadow what’s to come between our man Hasselhoff and the hot number with the bright red lipstick in the passenger seat. Meanwhile a swooshing red light moves back and forth observing all. Even our faithful Kitt deserves to lull himself away to lusty Electric Dreams…EXCLUDED TERRITORY:ITALY!!!
