Review

What a glorious day! After his stunning “Wade In The Water Children", Bruno returns with another piece of jewellery for Hello?Repeat. The title track “There’s Galaxies Better” arises at a mysterious place somewhere in Seattle and tells the story of a Lady Cabdriver somewhere in the future. “TGB” starts with loose, stuttering percussion over a locked bass before opening out into a beautifully detailed mix of chords and straight to your face chorus-vocals. As if this is not enough, Grandmaster Thomas Melchior steps along and delivers with his interpretation of “TGB", a hypnotic build up groove monster which will take you on a cosmic spellbind ride. The second strike on this EP is “Our Holiday Clothes". It’s peppered with fresh-flavoured ingredients, cut ups, smacking claps, stumbling bells, sexy-beats and a driving arrangement which makes us dance, dance, dance… We’re extremely curious about his new album, to be scheduled for a 2007 release on Hello?Repeat… CAN’T BELIEVE!!!

Troy Pierce (Minus, Underline): “killer e.p. from bruno as usual, sleazy broken funk. bomb remix as well. ”
