To celebrate our 10-year journey of electronic club music we proudly present our 5th CD release in the form of a double CD with 12 unreleased tracks and 10 classics from the past. For the “Future” mix-cd we asked our favourite producers on the label from past and preset to deliver something special for the occasion. The tracklisting speaks for itself with some new names to watch for 2007 and the usual suspects from out vast catalogue. Sasse tried to create an old school mix with not too much fiddling around with EQ and effects, rather concentrating on the essence of the music and the songs in question with a balance of his current dj-style of lush electronic emotions mixed with bouncy beats. The “Past” CD showcases some of the finer moments of the 10 years of hard work. Naturally the early catalogue features mostly Sasse productions but slowly the roster has built up to an extensive network of internationally known artists and collaborators such as Henrik Schwarz, Dirt Crew, Kiki, DJ T, Nick Chacona, Spirit Catcher and Star You Star Me. The CD is starting with “My Thing” from our first release from label owner Sasse. We continue in straight dub fashion with an early Henrik Schwarz production from 2002 named “Feel Da Vibe". Next up is “Jersey” from the third Moodmusic release, also from Sasse showing some of the more Detroity side of things in 1997. Following is “Gotta Need” by Freestyle Man feat George Spruce which Matthias Tanzmann transformed into a groovy atmospheric tech-house bomb in 2002. Another sure-shot from the last years was the sadly overlooked Star You Star Me production “Sweet Things” which got lost in the minimal flood of mediocre productions.Nick Chacona follows with his 2004 production “Meso Loco” in the Putsch 79 remix which still is one of their best remixes to date. Also in 2004 the fairly unknown Dirt Crew combo released “808 Lazerbeam” which beamed the duo into the limelight. Even more sensation was caused by their remix of “Soul Sounds” by Sass |
