Ulyssse is a young producer from Paris who regularly hosts his Puzzle parties at the Batofar, but his debut for liebe*detail doesn’t associate itself with recent trends from the french captial like Ed Banger style Rockrave or the eccentric funk from labels such as Karat or Circus Company. „Sometimes“ rather establishes a perfect groove with only few elements creating a hypnotic undetow. Sonically, the track bass heavily moves under water, perfectlyn crafted for the time when the dancefloor has long forgotten to go home.Together with Donato Dozzy Marco Tonni aka Touane is among the most excellent italian producers coining minimal dance music from southern europe over the last few years. Where Dozzy focusses on progressively tinged, hypnotic techniques, Touane rather is a tireless explorer of unheard of textures and harmonies, which he perfectly proved on his album „Figura“ on Stewart Walker’s Persona label. „Chamber“ seamlessly is picking up his album thread. The track puts together a rangy percussion work sitting on a bed of discreet and feastful harmonies turning it into candy flosss for hyper sensitive dancers.
