This autumn Berlin based producer Dave DK (David Krasemann) strikes back with his Debut album on Moodmusic bringing us 10 new tracks showing up his creative expression of the past months. Musically following his earlier singles for Moodmusic - this time including collaborations with Alex Krüger aka Tigerskin, Holger Zilske aka Smash TV and Ira - the album shows great versatility! While his first album “Sensory Overload” on Müller Records in 2000 set the starting point of his serious musical career, “Lights and Colours” may be Dave’s balance between relaxation and the club action during his extensive DJ tours. It presents a wide range of sounds, which became his trademark throughout the years, combined with new influences, all of them spreading this positive vibe one can’t get enough of. Although the central thread of the album can be described as Tech House in the broadest sense, there is more to it. Drawing influences from early electronica, house and techno, “Lights and Colours” defines a new mixture of House with a minimal attitude. The happy and melancholic themes mixed with his upfront percussion and drum workout brings the best out of home listening and a club experience a lá Berlin 2007. The preceding single, “Sweet Yellow” has already gained heavy airplay and thumbs-up from a broad range of DJ’s and opinion makers like Tiefschwarz, Ben Watt, Alexkid, Jimpster, Dirt Crew, Funk D´Void, Spirit Catcher and Philip Sherburne among others. The first collaboration, “Fading Lights", with vocalist Ira from the band The Tape is a result of excellent teamwork with sublime vocals floating over Dave’s 21st century deep house excursion."Volar", the collaboration with Alex Krüger aka Tigerskin showcases the powerful, yet delicate production from Dave DK in his best form. Designated for dance floor dominance - “Volar” will make any Saturday night peak hour hot and sweaty.
