The NO FRIENDS EP is the debut release by SESSION VICTIM, aka Berlin-Hamburg duo HAUKE FREER and MATTHIAS REILING. Hauke Freer’s name will be familiar to some for his MY BEAT limited edition 12″ for Real Soon (UK Single of the Month in De:Bug Magazine, November 2007) and his HUNGRY EP for Swiss label Morris Audio in early 2008. The NO FRIENDS EP features three fresh, raw, unpretentious House-influenced tracks; lovingly constructed with cut-up vocal snippets, micro vinyl samples, old school pumping chord patterns and no-nonsense beats… all done in loose, effortless style and with a subtle attention to detail.
