Acos Coolkas return on Theomatic just in time for summer. “Stellar Way” is a sublime journey through warm atmospheric strata followed by refreshing funk-powered waves of “Meridian” which receives an extra rub of aural refinement from Amberflame aka An-2. Everything gets topped off with a celestial downbeat splendor of “Lazy Moon” - a perfect soundtrack for star gazing sometime in mid-August.

Dj Gio MC 505: “il duo degli Acos Coolkas (i russi Konstantin Atomas e Vasily Basalev) ritorna con un disco che ben si alloggia negli scompartimenti disco-funky amati dalla Theomatic di San Pietroburgo. “Stellar Way” mischia gli elementi classici di questo filone musicale e, seppur non eccessivamente colorito da presenze melodiche, gira che è un piacere. “Meridian”, inciso accanto, s’inscrive perfettamente nella scia di Bangkok Impact & Co., allungato da pads romantici ed avvolgenti. L’edit di Amberflame (ossia Andrei A. Zakharov, ‘mente’ della label), ne modula creativamente alcuni frammenti melodici, enfatizzandone l’andatura funky. A chiudere è la più rilassata “Lazy Moon” che si alleggerisce di bpm recuperando elementi distintivi del pfunk anni ottanta e duettando con un trip-piano da sogno. Un ottimo follow-up di “Skyline”.”
