Following the succesful debut ‘Do The tartelet’, which received massive support from both the techno and house scene (djs like Laurant Ganier, Claude Von Stroke, Erol Alkan), the Danish label Tartelet pulls another rabit out of the hat. Their 2nd release is kind of an oddly beloved fellow as Tartelet teams up with the Danish band Analogik and release their track `Hov´ together with a couple of remixes. Analogik are well established in the Danish reggae scene with their original blend of balkan, reggea, minimal and breakbeat. The two guys behind Tartelet (Tomas ‘Tomboy’ Barfod and Frederik Bille Brahe) discovered the orginal song a couple of years back, but this release is their way of transforming it into a magnetic club thing.With remixes from techno magicians ‘Ink & Needle’ and The Menu, the track is spoiled with an amazing house-rerub. If you like stuff like Nôze, Dop, Samim, Lemos or Marco Carola you will love this. …and by the way ‘Hov’ means ‘Ups’ in Danish.
