The big Chile connection is steadily expanding, and it is fun listening to this process. Which is not necessarily related to physical or virtual networking of producers who are close companions, neither to the friendly reception of new, qualified members or to newborns within the inner circle of the well-established “family". The revolutionary sound sinks to fertile ground, stirs, grows, flourishes, takes a rest in between, finally ramifies, meanders, eventually is in the prime of existence, bears fruit, forms new variations to consequently proliferate to a jungle of sound diversity and evolutionary develop further. Marcelo Rosselot and Francisco Allendes, who run the label Andes Music in Santiago de Chile, proceed to improve the system by enriching it with fascinating elements.
