Review

The second instalment of the Aprés vinyl series sees Australian producer Touch Sensitive (also a member of Van She) kicking things off with ‘Body Stop’, an italo disco stomper that’s been at home in the FC catalogue for quite some time. Recently unearthed by London based producer Toby Tobias in a chart of ‘Hidden Gems’ it seemed only natural to ask Toby to remix Body Stop and the result sees Toby putting more space in the track, pushing it further onto the dancefloor and keeping it playful all at once. On the flip we take the UK connection a little further with Leeds based producer Bonar Bradberry floating into cosmic territory with ‘Fought & Won’ whilst Toby Tobias turns in some glorious tour-bus-disco on ‘Azul Blue’, guitars and acid lines sitting comfortably side by side for the ride.
