A shout to all kids of earth and ravers at heart, the people for whom dancing late, living fast, getting into trouble and chain smoking is as important as sleeping and checking mails. It contains “Youth, Speed, Trouble, Cigarettes.” a fresh track we did last month and our first cover to date “Almost Cut My Hair” from the fantastic David Crosby, one of the best song ever but done our way. Here’s the first Cassius Record!! We hope you’ll enjoy it as we do! We can’t wait to give you the follow up but until then happy listening, dancing or whatever….. Zdar & Boombass Tracklisting: A1 Youth, Speed, Trouble, Cigarettes B1 Almost Cut My Hair B2 Y-S-T-C

KISSY SELLOUT (BBC RADIO 1): “Played as soon as it came through the front door. Big for me.”

LEWIS DENE (DJ): “Damn right Iíll include this in my news section Ė bring it on mate.”

NICK STEVENSON (MIXMAG): “These are definitely the finished mixes? They sound very condensed and rough around the edges Ė is that the style they are going for? Itís good though, I do like it. Itís fresh. Reviewing it (4/5) but its not the best this month. Plus it would be weird calling it the electro tune of the month as itís not strictly electro.”

RACHEL BARTON (VARIOUS SHOWS /: “I think both tracks are great with incredible production, however they're both a very hard sound for radio, especially early evening. I think Pete Tong will play once or twice as a nod to them but we will struggle to play on heavy rotation before 9pm. But later in the evening we can play lots! Flagged up to all djs.”

RALPH MOORE (MIXMAG/PACHA): “Can I please get a 5 min phoner with Cassius, it ca be for a news story in Mixmag and also for Pacha mag, issue 3.”
