Review

In 2008 Strip Strip surprised clubs with his first BNR release of oldschool-new school disco-filter-house. Since then a lot has happened for the kid from Bordeaux: he did remixes for R&S records and Modular, an epic 9 minute remix for NYC’s Fixed guys Dave P & Adam Sparkles and played many cool club shows all around the globe. In 2009, the year of classic house music revival, Strip Steve (22 and now based in Berlin) presents his vision of Disco rockin House-Music of 2010. Imagine Ian Pooley being young again and ready for the world where everything is possible. 5 new banging and diverse tracks start with the obvious smasher “Breakin’” and “Children", ready to destroy. On the flip you get “Dancin’” that samples a soulful vocal hook “feel like dancin*” plus a burning rollin bassline. “AM/FM” is a super funky acid universe. As a digital Bonus there is the sweet drive song “Point Break". Bon Appetit*
