Review

Second part of the much talked-about “Universal Consciousness” series. On one side, Stephen Brown, the artist responsible for some of the best releases on Derrick May’s Transmat label, makes his 2010 comeback with an uncompromising and stunningly beautiful piece of Detroit techno. On the flipside, Club Lonely, a These Days in-house production moniker for jam sessions that happened in the label’s studio between friends, presents a tribute to N.Y club “Shelter". The track focuses on a bassline driven groove in Timmy Regisford fashion while on the B2 the vocals are muted for those who would like to use the track as a tool. Space techno meets N.Y dancers. Universal Consciousness.

Franck Roger - what a nice ep once again, that's all i wanna hear today.. real house shit, dirty, sweaty .. raw to the core.; let's go !!!!

Deetron - Club Lonely is great, will play!

Langenberg - fantastic 12 again from "these days" ! speak is a killer very good package all around...

Fred P - Speak is the track for me Stephen hits the spot on this one for sure great work.

Laurent Garnier - Niiice to hear more music from Stephen. Very strong dancefloor action with this as usual. Will play of course

Brothers Vibe - YIKES - killer man, killer...

Santiago Salazar - Great release! Love the techno banger on one side and the grinding-percussion burner on the flip. These Days is starting to be one of my fav's

Anthony Collins - dub mix is really cool

Alland Byallo - I like Shelter and the dub. Speak is nice, but that kick drum is too much for me. Will play Shelter this weekend, no doubt!!! Thanks for the music :)

Jerome Sydenham - These Days strikes once again!

Angel Molina - This is timeless Detroit , yeah!!”
