Second part of the much talked-about “Universal Consciousness” series. On one side, Stephen Brown, the artist responsible for some of the best releases on Derrick May’s Transmat label, makes his 2010 comeback with an uncompromising and stunningly beautiful piece of Detroit techno. On the flipside, Club Lonely, a These Days in-house production moniker for jam sessions that happened in the label’s studio between friends, presents a tribute to N.Y club “Shelter". The track focuses on a bassline driven groove in Timmy Regisford fashion while on the B2 the vocals are muted for those who would like to use the track as a tool. Space techno meets N.Y dancers.
