‘Coca Grande’ comes in two forms - an original spellbinding version set to deconstruct any dancefloor and The Mole’s MMD mix - more enthralling house music but with a hypnotic advantage. ‘I Can Read Your Mind’ puts the tempo on simmer and takes the package into a new gear, its delirious vocals and chopped up percussion creating a serene balearic production. The release will also come complete with a Vitalbit version of ‘I Can Read Your Mind’ for DJ tools. Last but not least, ‘Zeska’, flirts with more dislodged vocals and charismatic beats, building to an epic crescendo in a truly captivating fashion. All of these collaborations showcase a dynamic and depth from two artists capable of big things in the years to come. Sprouting from bonafide rock star roots, jozif has been immersed in music and inspiration his whole life. Access to a record collection beyond measure meant an endless supply of new sounds and sensations, while a healthy appetite for hedonism fired his imagination and fuelled his ambition. jozif’s output has always followed its own path - quirky, charismatic and thoroughly electronic, his are the stand-out tracks that permeate a twisted 6am dancefloor, or drive a Balearic afterhours party through the roof. Recent material has seen the light on day on NYC lauded imprint, Wolf + Lamb and London-based Leftroom. The Mole has been burrowing tunnels in electronic music circles for many years. Based in Montreal, he became known through releases on Matthew Jonson’s Wagon Repair, collaborations with the label head and a consequential solo album for them. He performs with 5 turntables no less and appeals as much to the lovers of disco as to lo-fi electronica all the way to straight edged house heads and non-conformist jazz lovers. |
