Review

Only for an artist like Samuel L Session and on labels like Be As One, you could put together a remixes pack with some of the most genre defining producers in the dance music of the recent time and beyond. Such is indeed for SLS album “The Man With The Case” remixes pack. On the A side you have label boss Shlomi Aber, soon to release his 2nd long awaited artist album on Ovum, who has reworked “Big Bad Drum” in a jazzier, dubbier vein. Damage is assured on the dancefloors. Cadenza’s main man Reboot takes Samuel’s “The Soloist” and turns it into an hipnotic techno journey, something very different from what Frank is known for. Stacey Pullen needs no introduction, being one of the leaders of the Second Wave of Detroit Techno he’s a legend in the scene. With him, SLS’ “Sections” get reworked to a new high. To close the package, “The Soloist” get remixed by SLS himself, and it’s turned into a new dancefloor groover, bearing once again the swedish master imprint.
