Vincenzo certainly needs no introduction as one of the Dessous and Poker Flat camp‘s central artists. Now he‘s gearing up to release his next full-length album in 2011, the first single to be featured is the breathtaking ‚The Clearing‘. Beautifully warm and overflowing with atmosphere, this anthemic modern ode to introspective moments on the dancefloor swirls and builds with incredible depth and clarity. Like opening the door to a secret garden full of wonders, this powerful moment of positivity sends unifying waves through clubland. The equally special Dub version works the groove further with a straighter edge and an even later night theme emerges through the blissed out wash of chords and subtle harmonies. Veteran producer Ian Pooley is enjoying a comeback of late with his classic soulful house sound once again brought back to the floors. His stunning remix pays tribute to all the power and emotion of the original, while cutting up some old-school flavours and laying down that classic Pooley key-led funk.
