New Tejada Album! Where? On Palette right here!
Surely John Tejada fans (including us!) have been waiting for this, but also those of you who only occasionly stumble across his tunes or other Palette releases, should drop into this 10-track ride through the spectrums the Tejada universe of minimalistic clubmusic. You can feel so many influences on this, that you catch yourself drifting into dancing thoughts.
This is John’s eleventh (11th!!) album and it is yet another prove of what he’s not capable of: bad tunes! Definetly an extract of the Tejada studio where you can feel the pulse in the synths.
A really highclass guest appearances which should be pointed out is to find on the fifth track of the 50th release on his imprint by now, called “Desire”. This one is featuring the beautiful voice of Nicolette, who we know from various releases from the 90s and of course the brilliant stuff together with people like Massive Attack or Plaid. A beautiful piece of music here with such a catchy but yet not uncheesy pop appeal giving you the goose bumps you love to get.
All other tracks around this one are surely also not to be missed, since accustic visits to parts which just need to be transferred to the club can be made and the journey is always worth it.
All in all this is digital, elegantly varying micromusic with so many places to go: Where?
It’s all one flow, but with so many tweaking corners to take a look at.

From the Beehive of Smallville
Some people say that the first Smallville album is overwhelming. Wow, that’s a pretty high standard call! You know what? They seem to be right. Just let yourself drop into it and you will probably understand what they mean. From the pretty beehive of Smallville another piece of brillance simply swarms up your soul with so much warmth and held back beauty which enfolds in full apparentness as you approach. Created by the long time electronic pioneer David Moufang (better known as Move D) together with Benjamin Brunn the ‘Songs From The Beehive’ are spreading the soulful buzz of deepness.
For the two label owners, Julius Steinhoff and Pete Kersten (known for his releases as Lawrence or Sten on diverse high quality labels of the deep) it seems to be a real pleasure to have their long time honoured collegues on their own imprint. Move D & Benjamin Brunn open up a little door to their world. Experience what is coming out of this one: Starting oh so slowly, picking you up from your subconsciousness and leading you to unexpected places (you’ll find quite a few of those here!), where you just want to rest a little, feel and melt with the ambience and rhythm and you’ll find yourself moving through yourself. Anywhere you like, either at home, the club, the sky or right next to what- or whoever you love, this is the perfect sound for the getaway!
