Argy kicks off These Days
These Days was founded in January 2009 by Argy as a platform on which to present his own more personal material and the work of artists, both new and old, that fit his vision of contemporary, soulful club music.
The label begins with a three part connecting series of records which remains musically unrestricted by the traditional concepts associated with the common EP.
The first part, "Day One" by Argy, showcases three very different tracks, referencing some of his most important influences up to now.
Within these pieces he displays the ability to work closely with session musicians and sourced artists to create a more improvised live sound, showing also his talent when structuring song like pieces or even approaching the sensitive idea of making a cover, as in his version of the 1994 classic 'Bottom Heavy'.
The result suggests a new direction for the artist and shows a depth and maturity not previously seen in his work. The influence of striking, spiritual sound is clear in the track 'Upon Ourselves' featuring acclaimed vocalist Bajka whilst his collaboration with previously anonymous artist Alexander Ross shows more cosmic, dub tendencies. When placed together the records of the trilogy series will complete a puzzle revealing a connective artwork across the three sleeves.

Beyond and Unexpected!
Beyond is certainly one of the most promising new deep house labels around. Their first release by japanese Gonno already set a very high standard and number two does thrill us the same style, if not more.
Made by new kids on the block Kapuchon and Rodriguez this is as warm and intense as its kicking in with subtle but definite floor appeal.
Check out track B1 for example, mezmerising and bumpty with slight shuffle and acid theme , dry bass and killer strings this smasher is as retro new york underground as is future modern and will be heard for a very long while. De.Bug (Germany): "A brilliant follow-up from one of this year's most promising labels!" Jimpster (Freerange): "Lovely chords to bring some light into the darkness. Great stuff. "

Kabale & Lauhaus team up for new label
Dear people,we are happy to announce that Amsterdam hits the scene with a new imprint once more.
After some years of friendship and some projects in the studio together, Kabale und Liebe and Lauhaus team up again.
This time to launch a new label. SOWESO Records.
With SOWESO Records Kabale und Lauhaus want to put out new school house music.
First up is the young and talented Makam from The Hague, Holland.
With his vintage sound he builts the perfect bridge between old- and newschool house music.
The A side, The Hague Soul, is a real chicago house stomper with a character of it’s own.
Heavy beats, nagging synth sounds and a raw voice, all on a mission to prove that the Hague is the soulful city.
The B1, Exception, is like a young Thomas Bangalter meets Moodyman.
Here Makam is freaking with his filterknobs, leaving the crowd waiting until he’s ready to burst. BOMB!
On the B2 Kabale und Lauhaus pair up for a deeper remix that gives a more chemical end flowy vibe to the original of The Hague Soul.
Early support by Karotte, Nick Curly, Matthias Kaden, Johnny D and Matthew Dear.
