Hudd Traxx call on London based US Producer Lance De Sardi for their last EP before they hit 50 Releases and celebrate their 10th Anniversary. De Sardi it seems is more than up for the task, and it's no surprise having had previous releases dating back to the 90's on classic labels like Seasons & Om, as well as his more recent Legwork Records, which he co-owns. Pariah kicks the EP off in fine style with a Deep House Monster of a track, smooth beats, an infectious vocal and lush pads ensure that this will be a big one for the heads. Although the EP only has 3 tracks there's plenty of variety. Flip for the B Side and find a tough Acidy number in Youth, and a groovy track in Race the Clock which is made for the dance floor. 2015 is already proving to be a big year for Hudd Traxx following releases from Iron Curtis & Nachtbraker, and Lance De Sardi keeps the flag flying high with this solid EP.

The made in Perugia prodigy delivers us once again 3 titles paying homage to the sound of chicago, the fabulous triplet lost tape 1, 2 & 3. On A1, the aptly named Lost tape 1 us leads into the meanders of the jungle house in direct tribute to the great marshall Jefferson all sprinkled with some "detroit" sauce, this peaktime track will delight the most humid and demanding dancefloors. Lost tape 2 is more airy with these sparkling bells and its bass that lifts your guts, mental we tell you ! A bit as if paris gray was remixed in a hovering dub version. On lost tape 3, it is clearly the quintessence of the spirit of simoncino, his genius. This way of creating a universe that is both a tribute to the original chicago house and the italian dream house straight from the 90s. Completely trippy. “When 2 Bodies Become 1” treads a fine line between raucous deep-house, balearic blues and straight-up sexy music. The opener “Raw Loop” channels classic Pepe Braddock vibes while “Moving Day” sounds like it could’ve come from the sonic experiments of a certain 90s house producer who loves to play keyboards. Lukas is a musician and singer first, which really shows on the flip side of the record – something which Mano Le Tough &Jimpster were very happy to support on a recent release for Clouded House.“Strange Beast” marries off-kilter chorus-kissed guitar riffs with a driving four-to-the floor arrangement while “2 Bodies Become 1” takes a step further away from house music to combine vintage new-order textures and shuffling deep-house. Lukas also builds digital synthesizers in his spare time, something which must’ve come in handy for “Bike Ride With U” an italo-banger closing out the record and sporting a very rubbery bassline. Lady Blacktronika : She needs no introduction to the usual Skylax heads; after last year’s killer ‘It’s a Blacktronika world’ EP, the queen of beatdown returns to the Skylax fold with a packed eleven track LP for us. It has got her signature slo-mo grooves, as well as a couple of housier cuts on the back-end of the record. Naturally, a lot of these tracks are perfect for the club on their own, whether it’s an early set or a late one, but the LP really stands up on a full run through for home listening too. On the topside of the record, there’s the chugging vibe of “Who Doctor”, with its whirling synth and sizzling hats perfect for that low light, early mood. Then you have the likes of “How I Miss My X”, and titular track “A Lonely Space Program”, that both raise the tempo into housier territory. All bases covered, really. This record is a slice of beatdown history, one you’d be a fool to sleep on!
