Humanoid strikes back on De:tuned with a remastered version of the pioneering 1988 crossover UK number 1 Dance Single "Stakker Humanoid". This major influential UK acid house cut has been breaking down UK culture barriers since its original release. Humanoid's music was also used in Stakker "Eurotechno", now housed in The Museum of Modern Art located in New York. De:tuned have invited personal favourites Autechre, Luke Vibert and Mike Dred to rework the new and uncompromising update "sT8818r" (previously released on DE:10.08) to complement the classic original. Prepare to have your mind blown once more!

30 years ago this month (Nov 1988) HUMANOID - STAKKER HUMANOID was the UKs No.1 song in the Dance charts - it would stay no.1 for 5 weeks also charting in the UK top 20 at No.17.
Now regarded as an ACID HOUSE classic anthem and hailed as the first real UK acid house track to break the UK top 20.
Humanoid music from 1988 was also used in Stakker Eurotechno - now housed in the museum of modern art (New York) and sighted as a major influence on early Aphex Twin music / Reflex

The live duo entered the studio to focus on adding a melodic sensibility to the harmonic structure of the existing AsOne sound. The resulting album once again finds it perfect home with the Belgian record label De:tuned.

Following on the heels of the teaser EP featuring the duo's acclaimed 'Descent Module' - AsOne² is a blend of vintage, warm analog gooeyness and pristine post-modern production techniques. Prendergast's melodic additions veers the AsOne sound towards a more accessible arena without compromising on the core AsOne sonic signature.
