Sales Note
Timeless techno from a timeless artist. Italian veteran Antonio De Angelis steps up on KEY Vinyl serving quality material through an EP built out of classic cuts - never disappointing our thirst for excellence.
De Angelis opens the records with a full burst of energy. A1 is proper loopy peak time material, constituted by a rhythmic crescendo of elements and a blend of trimmed funky vocals. This one will make you smile. With 'Black Lights' the energy shifts to a more eccentric, dark place. A2 focuses all around on the creation of an atmosphere- a moment charged with intensity and hypnotism. The chubby lows and the absence of bold high sleave plenty of space for incredibly overlapped bleepy layers and textures.
For the flip side, 'Delta 1' proposes a continuation of the bleepy direction of its former. A sinister, aggressive temper but with a softened, almost melancholic essence. Its pulsating kick drumsare tempting, paired with more dramatic analogue synth effectsand old-school aura- let's call it modern space-age drama. B2 then concludes the sonic journey with a positive charm, almost acting as the light at the end of the tunnel. Funky arps allow space for a slow build up and a more loose energy, giving a well-deserved breather from previous intensity. Indeed, 'Halob' closes the driving, intense EP with a bit of sunny sunshine which in the midst of darkness, we all crave. More

When talent calls, KEY responds. So here we go again withedition 39, containing the excellent produced work fromAmsterdam's young JSPRV35.
Step into a world of consistent tension and high momentumtools, all designed for the peak-time work outs. With its focus onrepetitive rhythms and functional constructions, all tracks areguaranteed to keep the energy soaring on the dancefloor.Indeed, our starting point A1 'Riod' is a stripped back, swingingpiece focused on building cadency through the interplay of warmlow ends with sharp hats. One of those tracks which glides yourwaist left to right without too much thinking at all. 'Ioulos' insteadredirects us to a darker space, invaded by metallic bleeps anddystopic glitches. A story of intrigue and intensity, which iscontinued on the flip side with B1 'Loced'. It is a rough one forsure, but also injecting a sort of playful, funk-marinated feel.Last but not least, B2 'Elekt' is our standout favorite. This trackdelivers electro bliss with a dark and dynamic edge. Frommesmerizing modulations to cinematic atmospheres, everyelement is crafted to immerse dancers in a highenergyhypnosis. Keep an ear out for the snippeted vocal, reminding us the importance of... bass. Sensual, breaky, electro.Say no more!

B2 Casey Fable - Late Night Liquor Store
Sales Note
Introducing the latest addition to the KEY Vinyl family: Irish artist Casey Fables, who takes the steering wheel for the next sonic endeavour.
An EP pumped with tight minimalism, sampled, groovy techno. From end-to-end it's paced with a teasing sort of reserve and sleek progression that works equally well on the dancefloor or headphones. It's a funky, slippery and sophisticated ride into the centre of the modern dance floor and highly recommended to those that know. Opening with 'Heilung', Fables showcases his knowledge of track building through subtlety and restraint. It's one that ebbs and flows, snakes and seduces with a tensile, minimalist groove control. A2 'Krava' is a massive TIP - simply very tasty, hard-to-resist techno. Here the artist smudges all sharp contours for a more dubbed, swinging groove. Note well the breathed vocal which adds to an impeccable layered construction, creating a lovely puzzle of tempos. On with the flip, 'Blumen' maintains a moderate, laid-back flare while diving deeper into sensorial displays through gritty textures and sporadic bleeps. A DJ tool with all the frills trimmed for streamlined mixing potential. Closing the release is 'Late Night Liquor Store', a fun, funky and fresh piece with a full-bodied 4/4 template and once again smudged voices for an extra boost of intrigue.

Sales Note
KEY038 announces the great return of young Spanish artist who's been constantly evolving and developing his potential: Atonism. This one is hot material. Featuring the vocals of Viktoriia, the EP unfolds through a myriad of moods and turns out adaptable to a variety of moments through the night... Or morning. Let's dive into it.
First track of the record is '27', bringing out rolling rhythms and sensual layers which build up to a sinuous tension, perfectly balanced between uplifting groove and suspense.
On the other hand, A2 handles a bleepy, distorted universe in tune with the characteristic KEY sonic dimension. 'Don't call me baby' is one you've definitely heard the label boss playing throughout the past months. A catchy, contemporary and genuinely hip shaking device. Up next goes B2 'La Noche', a perfect tune for those long and intense closings composed by a jolly harmony of chords and delicate blups which cohesively narrate the end of a well written story.

B2 Hurdslenk - Humpty
Sales Note
Tribal, funky, super techno. Emerging and extremely talented UK based Hurdslenk offers us a robust 4 tracker where modern sound design meets a classic, year 00s approach to understanding the genre.
'Effective' is the word of the day, as it marks a steady consistency throughout both sides.
Kayak is an EP entirely dedicated to highlighting rhythmic compositions and their subsequent effect on the body. A1introduces a multitude of metallic layers, from a consistent ringing tone on the background to the coming and going of highly clanging rides- yet, maintaining pounding low ends. Get2definitely hits the hardgroove shelf of your collection.
Second in comes Delta which extends the tribal edge of its predecessor, adding a layer of sensuality and seduction. Engineering a thoughtful interplay between suavity and strength, this track is guaranteed to do the do. Big room killer.
Time to flip the vinyl now, and well... Fasten your seatbelts dear listeners and dancers. B1 is fun and dynamic, minimalistic and most importantly, powerful. In between the fuel efficient percussions and drum patterns comes in a witty snippeted vocal, which adds to building up the exquisitely constructed rhythmic tension of the track. Definitely a favorite. Last but not least, everybody welcome Humpty- closer to this stomper EP. Slinky and bulky bass throbs force the hip to get into some heavy swing action. With B2 the circle is closed and the message delivered: to dance and never stop. More

Where knowledge of technology transforms into innovative musical output, Arjun Vagale takes the lead.
KEY034 showcases the expertise of this prolific artist through a three tracker EP, all crafted for the highest peaks and climaxes... Functional rhythmic architectures merge with syncopated bleeps and liquid textures, giving life to a densely populated sonic environment.
Taking off from here, "Ditch" cuts our brains open with a sleek, driving groove and a plethora of atmospheric patterns which give the idea of a rugged surface, filled with diverse elements and nitty-gritty details. A complete sensory experience engineered in tune with the label's stylistic pace and motion.
B1 "Introverted" is the shyest member of the family, where subtle, filigree melodic drones are interwoven with a chubby bassline
and a playful interchange of rides and hats. Closing off the EP is "Primate"; a sinister, murky bleep loop with the capacity to stimulate incredible dance floor tension.
In short, Vagale serves an incredibly strong package of peak time material and tough floor burners. More

Producer and live artist Dold jumps into KEY Vinyl with fibrillating, fully charged rollers. With a potently effective gear on both sides, the Swedish artist proposes a cluster of proper loopy peak time material.
Welcoming us into the Dold realm is Loop 1, serving some big room shunts and non-invasive waterfalls of bleeps. Shakers step in to round up the atmosphere and shortly after, hats come through guiding us on track with the rhythm. Loop 2 heads into orbit powered by a macabre atmosphere and heavy pendulous bassline- a KEY trademark.
And then comes the flip side... Oh the flip side... Here we are launched into a void of hypnotic repetition and mind-bending, deep brain stimulators. In the midst of plangent sonic devices, B1's groove appears more
reserved as quivering synth tones pirouette between labyrinthine, metallic whirrs. Yet, the undulating bass locks our
feet in a pacing, rhythmic spiral. With Loop 3 the mind is allowed to float into abstracted, mystical soundscapes as the body is coaxed into the rumbles of the low ends. B2 closes off the ride with a joyful, dubbed out Detroit funk. Panned arpeggios fill the room with positivity- it will be impossible not to smile.
With Kompass, Dold exposes a spectrum of different energies and sounds which ranks him as one of the most versatile, talented producers of this decade. More

B1 Decka & Roseen - Mechanics
B2 Decka & Roseen - Captivate
Sales Note
Up and next on the releases are Decka & Roseen with "Keynote", introducing their first ever collaborative musical project.
With "Message From The Error System" we dive into an abyss of icy blue vibrations. Just like the alternate rising and falling of the tide, so does this track expand and breathe through a cyclical recurrence of the groove... Cycles and repetition. A cinematic, abrasive polyrhythm will drown all your senses as the
frequencies increase and increase. And so does the tension. Until... all of a sudden.. The frequency is lost... no more life signals... You feel alone in the cold. You are scared. But slowly... Hope grabs your hand from the water... takes you on the shore and slowly dries your tired and wet body.
The storm has passed. Clearing our heads from this apocalyptic sonic journey, B1 jumps in with a distracting and high energy looped cut. A classic, dance-floor oriented percussive and versatile track. Once again, repetition marks a fundamental element of the KEY family.
Last but not least comes B2 "Captivate"- which is a sort of synthesis between the dreamy A1 and the minimalistic composition of B1. A soft and mellow synth line is seduced by playful high hats into a redundant, cyclical game of sounds. More

B1 Rebecca Delle Piane - La Vita Di Allora
B2 Rebecca Delle Piane - Terza Armonica
Sales Note:
Fast, nervous, incisive. With Rebecca Delle Piane, you really can't go wrong. Class 98', Fondi born and Terracina based Italian artist joins the KEY crew with an unmistakable four tracker EP.
"Creatures of the night" takes our hand into a paranoid and distorted bleepy delirium. Everything is unnerving. A harsh, almost discordant mixture where the title clearly renders the idea of its content.
A2 "Personal Prison", softens down the confusion and guides the listener a bit deeper into the rabbithole... The atmosphere is ominous. Kickdrums are round and steady while crisp, subtle hats fill all the blank 4x4 spots. Seething strings play with odd bells, all rounded off by a rolling, groovy, beat.
Up next goes "La Vita Di Allora", which in italian translates 'the life of back then'- a sentimental title which reminisces an undefined past or moment. The first element which stands out of the composition is a thick, vibrating bassline, which blends in with distorted snippets of the vocal. Definitely a dancefloor weapon for the high momentums... And for sweat.
Last but not least, B2 concludes the release by developing the bleepy madness into a more grounding cut. A smooth grain delay provides texture to the hi's, while toms take your attention to the low frequencies once again. A general sound which will make you feel a different kind of energy. Sinister and cavernous, with a high dose of adrenaline rush. A continuation of KEY's exploration of the abysses of horror-based sonic narrations. More

Sales Note
Inaugurating their first ever vinyl release, KEY Vinyl welcomes young Argentinian duo Translate & Pulso.
Mischievous, sci-fi oriented, yet groovy and grounding sounds. And so it goes: "Ocular Optics" initiates the tour by offering a more laid-back, tooly cadence. Common thread between all tracks, A1 introduces a bleepy arp sequence adding dimension to the strong percussive elements. A punchy kick drum and snippets of a vocal top the whole off- one for layering. "Global Agreement" slightly changes the emotional gear to a more sinister, obscure energy. Powerful low frequencies merge with fluent pads and mysterious bleeps creating a very special ambience- tip.
Proceeding on the B side, "Nodes 2962" definitely makes an impression... A macabre soundtrack shadowing the night deeds of Krueger... Lastly, "Backup Quest" extends the eerie atmosphere which is glued beneath rich, atmospheric textures.
Definitely a pick for the dance floors ! More

TWR72 jumps into KEY Vinyl with a full madness EP. "Kit" encompasses 4 merciless, high momentum tracks which leave no air to breathe.
The perfect tangle between groove and frenzy. A disorderly compulsive, agitated activity. Sounds which will haunt every inch of your body and won't let you go... they will lock you among the urgency of rhythm and rapid polyphonic undulations. A bipolar relationship between highs and lows, mixing and interchanging relentlessly. Vivacious percussion converges with an ever present, round and bouncy bassline resulting in an emotionally irrational, but technically intelligent execution.
The Dutch producer definitely knows how to make a statement. More

Music to remember.
"Controlled Impulses" presents Jeroen Search's first solo debut on KEY Vinyl. Known for his bleepy mind-bending sound signature, the Dutch artist once again proves his mastery in the art of production. With this album, Search exposes his creative versatility by delving into an exquisitely dreamy reality. Rather than a dance floor oriented selection, "Controlled Impulses" contains a more cinematic, melodic inclination- an ode to the capacity of music to transport the listener to other worldly dimensions.
The album is crafted to be a phonic journey, where "Sky Hook" functions as the entry portal.
Soft pads are accompanied by a low cheeky bassline and the classic Search bleeps resulting in a magic lullaby. With "Atmospheric Entry" the artist guides us into a deep, dubby grove- still maintaining a strong emotional density. Up and next goes the B side with "Processor Six" and "Kontrol Freak". Here things start to get bouncy, as B1 warms up the energy with a partial broken kick drum and peeping cymbals. B2 announces the climax of the album's journey where the spheric hypnotic soundscape meets a punchy rhythmic construction. Once again a cheeky rolling bassline is present to fill all the blank spots... You start feeling the desire to move your limbs... And in this moment the body will join the mind in that very faraway universe. With the second record, side C continues the progression by combining thumpy rhythmic elements to whimsical melodies. The final flip concludes the journey with three tracks: "Neowise", "Telescope Station" and "Sensory
Nerves"- and here the energy shifts once again into an almost melancholic direction, entering the final stage of the journey. Something in the tracks tells you it's almost over and time to return to reality...
An impeccable cluster of music which synthesises Jeroen Search's 30 year+ artistic experience. An exploit on the ability to translate feeling into sounds. More

Nico and Roseen show on their first LP a clear vision of taste and quality, coming from the true techno culture. Eight tracks moving from electro to techno, based on radical essential elements reflecting their 90ies roots. Both share the basic idea of techno: raw and gritty sounds with pounding rhythms. WRWTFWW Records is very honored to announce the official reissue of Grauzone’s essential 1981 maxi single with timeless classic "Eisbär", proto-techno beast "FILM 2", and romantic synth ballad "Ich Lieb Sie", just in time for the 40th anniversary of the Swiss band’s formation. The three-track vinyl is sourced from the original reels, cut at 45rpm, and comes with its iconic artwork on a 350gsm sleeve.
Ich möchte ein Eisbär sein…Written by Martin Eicher after a nightmare in which he saw talking polar bears on the walls, and with music by the Grauzone crew consisting of Martin and his brother Stephan Eicher, Marco Repetto, Christian "GT" Trüssel, and Claudine Chirac (on saxophone), "Eisbär" is the most recognizable title from the band, a sublime mix of ingredients reflecting the transitional era it comes from - the raw energy of punk music still palpable, combined with the audacity of early electronics, the warm groove of a disco gem, beautifully fragile lyrics, and one of the best basslines ever. It became a mega hit, totally unplanned, but how could you resist such a track?
"FILM 2" is the ultimate b-side monster, a menacing all-instrumental pre-techno masterpiece, slowly building to a magnetizing frenzy. An instant underground favorite, it was famously heard played at both speeds depending on the scenes and DJs you were frequenting, 45rpm as it was first intended, and 33rpm for the cosmic experience (search Daniele Baldelli’s Cosmic C75 1982 mixtape online for a great example of this).
The maxi single ends with "Ich Lieb Sie", a synth-pop meets doo-wop ballad, a true love song oozing with innocence. Simple, stylish, and just right.
At the crossroads of post-punk, new wave, pop, and electronic experimentation, the Eisbär maxi offers three songs that are technically different but hold the same spirit, the perfect embodiment of Grauzone’s music - wild, unpredictable, and youthful, yet sophisticated, catchy, and ingenious. The magic recipe for the good stuff.
Stephan Eicher went on to be, arguably, the most successful Swiss musician ever, with an international career extending from pop chanson to experimental escapades and collaborations with Moondog, artists Sophie Calle and John Armleder, and author Martin Suter among many other luminaries. Marco Repetto flourished as a techno and ambient producer, releasing multiple projects including releases on Aphex Twin’s Rephlex label.
Grauzone and WRWTFWW will continue to collaborate on the band’s 40th anniversary reissue campaign, with numerous projects planned for the year, including a vast selection of music, visuals, and literature never available before.

Juan Mendez aka Silent Servant is a figure in techno history that needs little introduction. As a member of the Sandwell District collective and the label’s art director he collaborated on works that were responsible for a global focal shift in the genre as their label adapted and challenged the paradigm of minimal techno, taking influence from other sources such as dub, post-punk, and even classical minimalism.
But Mendez’s relationship with music goes back much further than these seminal releases. With In Memoriam, Silent Servant’s latest release on Tresor Records, Mendez writes a deeply personal memoir of a 30-plus year career spent exploring and absorbing the shadowy side of music; a carefully crafted elegy to people, places, and times past and the lasting effect they have on the present.
Across the four tracks, Mendez pays tribute to the earliest Detroit techno and electro, the Belgian EBM movement and the wave music that followed, the monumental dub techno sound from Berlin, and the harder, abrasive sound of the UK at the turn of the last millennium; exploring and referencing the genres that informed his later work. Each track name gives a hint to the timeframe he is revisiting and re-contextualising as the E.P. repurposes the styles that exerted an influence on him.
This E.P. represents a pure distillation of Mendez’s memories whilst also cementing his place in the current and future sound of 21st century techno; aware of where we came from but focused on where we are heading. More

Writing about techno is quite difficult without falling into cliché: there are only so many ways that you can say
something about a music whose core elements are forged on deliberate repetition; where real talent is attributed
to those who can find the perfect groove where nothing needs added or subtracted to hold the listener’s attention for upwards of five minutes.
Such tracks are the hallmark of Tresor’s catalogue, and this joy in repetition can be found in works from Detroit,
Berlin, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and more. And it is through this lens that Parisian artist, UFO95, focuses his
output, resulting in Backward Improvement, an EP that sits perfectly in the spectrum of techno found in the
Tresor chronology.
The title itself makes an abstract reference to the influence of the classics of the genre, inspiring him to take a
distinct less-is-more approach to production for this collection of stripped-down yet unrelenting techno chiselled
from the live set which has fixed UFO95 as one of the next holdfasts for the future of the scene.
Perhaps it is the fact the UFO95 only performs live that had led to such crisp and focussed studio productions.;
each of the tracks showcase the artist’s burgeoning talent for creating the essential foundations of techno;
perfect, looping, instinctual grooves that are counterbalanced by an apprehensive tension from off-key tones.
Backward Improvement marks the addition of a new name in the list of techno’s best producers and proves that
while the genre may now be in its 40th year there are yet sonic explorations to be made and variations that are
worth unearthing. More

Repress!
Detroit a city of great contrasts. Feats of engineering that spurred the world forward. For a few decades wealth and prosperity. Hi-tech dreams seemed achieved. But with the dream also comes nightmares…..Traffic Jams, Predatory Insurance Companies prey on municipalities with no mass transporation, freeways built specifically to ruin minority prosperity & to build walls between people. Beautiful countries all over the world wrecked at war over the thirst for oil, entire neighborhoods decimated when the corporate greed for profit forces engineers to build throw away cars that are quickly replaced by better built foreign competition. Even Worse……Climate change. Detroit the city that knows the best NO CORPORATIONS SHOULD DICTATE CITY FUNCTION the people should……listen to the sound and learn from it……or deal with the Lo-tech reality that Corporate greed actually is so good at building. UR the future UR the change…… More
